Youth Sailing Week 2017

Session Duration: 5 days (4 days if there is a bank holiday)
Session Times: 10am - 4pm
Age: 8 - 16 years
Previous Experience: None required
Ability After Session: Developed sailing skills and tried different types of boat

Whether a total beginner or a seasoned pro, come and get on the water this school holiday with All-Aboard Watersports! With a wide variety of boats including; Oppies, Pico’s, Topper’s, Feva’s and Wayfarer’s  we have something to suit everyone, whatever your ability.  Throughout the week we will give you the opportunity to try different types of sailing boat and develop your skills.

The purpose of the week is to have fun, meet new people and practice your sailing skills!  The week is not a RYA Course, however if you have a logbook or want to work towards a certificate, tell your instructor at the beginning of the week what you would like to work on, and we will include it in the session if we can.

 

Concessionary rates (50% discount) are available for those on income related benefits or suffering financial hardship.  Please contact the office to book.

What to bring with you

  • Change of clothes
  • Towel
  • Appropriate footwear for getting wet
  • Swim-wear to wear under a wetsuit
  • Hat
  • Gloves
  • Sun-cream and sunglasses (if appropriate)
  • (Optional) Your own wetsuit if you have one
  • (Optional) Waterproof jacket

Please note:

Food is not provided.  Please either bring your own or there are shops and pubs within walking distance.  We have a small kitchen available for use where you can make hot drinks and use a microwave.
